Hope everyone enjoyed a Happy and Safe Halloween last night!!  We are sure you received lots and lots of "treats" and we are sure you just can't eat ALL of it!!

A Tradition at Lacombe Martial Arts is to Collect Candy a week or so after Halloween and have it sent to our Troops.  This year our candy will be delivered to OPERATION GRATITUDE in Van Nuys . This link to Operation Gratitude will take you to their Wish List page for our Men and Women in our Armed Services.  We will have a Candy collection box in the proshop area of the studio starting today.  In the future, we may collect different needed items from their Wish List.

All of us at LMA believe that part of your experience and development as a Martial Arts Family is actively supporting our Community both locally and nationally.  Participating in this event not only help unload all that candy but is a teaching opportunity to our kids and all of us that we can help in small and big ways and our help can make huge differences in people's lives.

If any of the kids and families want to write a note or draw a picture to send that would add an extra special touch.  We are having Andrew and Sophia do a little something and of course mention Lacombe Martial Arts!

Also, we have a decorated trash can to collect non-perishable food items to support local families via the Jr. Women's Club and Santa Comes to Westlake/Agoura and Beyond.

This can will be picked up before Thanksgiving so start bringing your items in now.  Let's fill that can this year!!

Thank you all for helping us to support others and show that Community Matters.

With Courtesy and Respect,

Master Lacombe and Michelle
